Radiographer

Aiva acquired her Medical Radiation Science degree from the University of Sydney. She then spent over 10 years operating multiple modalities, scanning human patients at Macquarie University Hospital and various private medical imaging centres.

Now at SASH, Aiva uses her skills to operating the high-end scanners (such as the new CT scanner and 1.5T MRI scanner) to acquire top-notch images for beloved pets.

Since transitioning from people to furry patients, Aiva adopted a stray cat now name Moochi, who adores her first fur-baby, Mocha the cavoodle. She also have two non-fur daughters under the age of 5, who constantly keep her on her toes.

Originating from Hong Kong, Aiva is also able to speak Cantonese and Mandarin. Having grown up in Ryde, she has a strong sense of community pride and loves to work at SASH North Ryde, one of the biggest veterinary hospitals in the southern hemisphere.

In her spare time, Aiva likes to destress by improving her aqua-scaping skills, agility training Mocha, and having her kids lead play time.
