(What does this mean?)

Dr Jasmin Hyatt graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (first class honours) in 2012. After two years in mixed animal practice in New South Wales and New Zealand Jasmin turned her focus to theriogenology (animal reproduction), focusing on canine, bovine and equine reproduction. She completed a residency program at Matamata Veterinary Services through the American College of Theriogenologists, mentored by numerous world-class theriogenologists in New Zealand, Australia and the United States. In 2015 & 2016 Jasmin spent 12 weeks working in the United States with the theriogenology departments of Louisiana State University and North Carolina State University Veterinary Schools.

Jasmin became a Diplomate of the American College of Theriogenologists & Associate member of the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in 2017. She is now the Director of Veterinary Reproduction Consultancy Pty Ltd and available for reproduction consultations and canine breeding services via her referral portal at www.vetrepro.com.au.

Jasmin is a frequent contributor to the Sydney University Alumni magazine, discussing topics ranging from recommended age of neutering in small animals to equine ovarian disorders and hormone testing for disease diagnosis. In 2017 Jasmin was awarded the George Osborne Memorial Award by the Australian Cattle Veterinarians for her presentation of a two year study she conducted in New Zealand which was subsequently published in the peer reviewed journal Clinical Theriogenology. One of the key skills developed during her residency was performing transcervical examination in canines, a non-invasive, non- surgical and fast alternative to surgical implantation with equivalent results.

Jasmin has a male border collie named Flash and two rescue felines named Boots and Sherlock.
