Resident in Diagnostic Imaging
Dr Mason has been working in veterinary clinics since he was 16 years old. He completed his veterinary studies at the University of Sydney, and after graduating in 2016, went on to work in general practice on Sydney’s Lower North Shore for just over 18 months. In 2018 he commenced a year-long rotating internship at SASH, after which he continued to work in SASH’s Emergency & Critical Care department for 18 months before choosing to pursue his interest in diagnostic imaging. In 2021 Mason commenced a Radiology Internship and then subsequent Radiology Residency at SASH. During this time, he gained membership by examination to the Small Animal Radiology Chapter of the Australia and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists.
Outside of work, Mason loves to travel, play music, and spend time with his friends, family and dog, Smudge.
